I only play a 9 hole course. I've been playing for 5 years. Ita a par 33. I started shooting 65-70. 2 days ago I shot a 6 over 39. 5 years of work for that 39. I was so happy.

I used these and Matty’s other course management techniques a few days back and won a club comp. ‘Get it on the green’ saved me from hero shots, toe-down chipping & chipping with the hybrid really worked well. Cheers playa-in-chief!

Last 2 rounds were 91 and 90. Matty's advice is way more valuable than any other youtube golf channel. I've always been high 90s or low 100s. Managing the course and playing confidential shots is a huge difference.

Found the fairway bunker twice recently. Tried the chin up recommendation and came out of there like a pro and got a few nice out, nice shot. Thanks Matty Boom Boom!!! BTW people, if you haven't purchased any of the shorts or shirts, what are you waiting on? Loving mine and I have several of each.

At my age, I can say this with certainly: A smaller head, is not necessarily a good thing.

how to break 80 without hitting it more than 200 yards...play the senior tees. I do it all the time. Typical par 4 is about 360 so 200 and 160 nice chip sink your put done move to next hole. With decent roll I'll get some 220 ish tee shots allowing for 2 or 3 birdie possibilities per round. I'm a senior golfer and enjoy your videos which are some of my favorites. Thanks

Congrats on avoiding the add blockers. Good info provided as we see the importance of using the brain as an additional club. I have had some nice stress free rounds in the 78 range which as I have found out is more fun than stressfully rounds even if lower scores. Confidentiality is muy importante. You are enjoying an enviable lifestyle. Keep up the good work.

God it’s depressing how well I score when I follow your advice, oh but the discipline required to stick to the method (starting by leaving the driver and 3 wood in the garage).

You have improved my game so much. I have always struggled with my driver, so the course management that you demonstrate has made me a very competitive player. Everyone else seems stuck on the mechanics of the swing so much that course management doesn't even come up. Thank you for teaching how to play the game, not just how to hold a club and swing mechanics.

Great video, is it possible to have a concept about how to backspin?

I'd love to see you complete a round where you go for the heros shot every time, instead of your usual methodical method. It would make for great viewing and might reveal what you normally teach, to be right on the money.

What is your percentage threshold for risk reward? On a 6 handicap what amount of reasonable risk would you accept before deciding against playing a shot?

I can tell that dropping your hands a bit to allow the shaft to run through your forearm is still uncomfortable for you b/c you're drifting back up! ;-). but you were right, that was the single biggest improvement I made in my set up. such great tips from one of the best UA-cam golfers out there!

I’ve learned that when putting, you don’t aim for the cup on long putts you aim for a certain radius around it that you know you can make. That got me a down to a lot of 2 putts

This is why as a casual golfer I’ve trained my mind to always start at zero after every hole. I don’t keep tracks of my strokes because there’s no reason I’m a casual golfer. And I’ve noticed that when I don’t count my strokes I manage to make birdies and pars more frequently than when I am counting my strokes. It completely helped me score lower. Now my average as a casual golfer is 82-87 and I have a lot of fun on the course even when I hit bad shots

Thanks for the advice that you gave me a while back, after a few weeks of working on 150 yards and in! I have dropped about 4-5 strokes off my game! Average rounds now in the mid 70’s! Bad days are in the low 80’s! I can’t thank you enough sidekick golf!
